Alunorte - Alumina do Norte do Brasil, located in Barcarena, State of Para, is operating with the biggest Fluidized Bed Boiler already manufactured in Brazil. The new equipment will bring lots of benefits to Alunorte. "This state-of-the-art equipment with low emissions of So2 and NOX gases guarantees total protection to the enviroment besides the flexibility of coal suppliers, large operational stability and cost constraints" reported the Industrial Director of Alunorte, Mr Daryush Khoshneviss.
